Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services: 

Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs.  We strive to prevent illness in you pet whenever possible.  Our hospital recommendations are designed specifically for your pet and include:  Twice yearly comprehensive physical exams; internal parasite testing; individual heartworm and flea control; individual vaccination packages; spay and neuter packages; specialized blood testing for all stages of your pets life.

Surgical Services: 

Our state-of-the-art surgical suite provides for the performance of a wide variety of surgical procedures from soft tissue surgeries to select orthopedic procedures.  Our surgery suite is staffed by fully trained veterinarians and technical support staff, this ensures your pet the safest and most efficient procedures.  We provide heated surgery tables for your pet's comfort; intensive post surgery care and full blood testing prior to surgery.

Anesthesia: 

We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide an extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high-risk patients. Using the most modern equipment, the patient's vital signs (body temperature and oxygen saturation) are monitored during all anesthetic procedures.

Radiology Services: 

Our on-site, modern X-ray equipment provides high quality radiographs to aid in the quick diagnosis of many disorders including muscular-skeletal, gastrointestinal, reproductive, cardiovascular and urinary systems.

Electrocardiography Services: 

We provide ECG services on-site as well as consultations with cardiology specialists.

Dentistry: 

Our dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing, tooth extractions and minor oral surgery.  We utilize state of the art dental equipment to ultrasonically clean and polish each tooth.  This allows your pet to have a healthy and clean mouth.

Laboratory: 

Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis and parasite testing. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations.  This allows us to very quickly and accurately evaluate many of your pet's organ functions both for monitoring healthy pets and sick pets.

Permanent Identification:

We offer "Save This Life" microchip identification. Microchips are used to reunite lost pets with their families.

Pharmacy: 

We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos, flea and tick control products and heart-worm preventatives to meet the needs of your pet. We also carry a full line of prescription diets.  For those items that we do not carry in stock we also offer an online pharmacy for your 24 hour convenience.

Individualized Flea Control Programs: 

We can develop programs for the specific needs of your pet and your own particular environmental situation. We will review with you the best ways to control fleas in your house, in your yard and on your pet.

Dietary Counseling: 

We will provide guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance and performance.  Our staff is trained to help you choose the most appropriate diet for your pet, from commercial diets to prescription diets.  

Behavioral Counseling: 

We can provide advice regarding the correction of problems such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, house soiling and aggression.  We also work with many local trainers and behavioral specialists at the University of Florida.

Bathing: 

Routine and therapeutic bathing services are available almost any day of the week by appointment.  We also offer a discounted bath special on Tuesday's by appointment.  Call early as slots are limited.
